A community in California is celebrating Halloween in style this year.
They are making sure that young victims of the recent wildfires are having a spooky fun time.
The event took place at an elementary school in Santa Rosa.
Kids got a chance to pick costumes from a closet full of options.
There was also pumpkin decorating and face painting.
The celebration comes during a time of recovery.
The children and their parents survived the deadliest wildfires in the state's history.
One of the children dressed up like a first responder to honor the heroes that saved her and her family.
The kids were able to have a happy Halloween thanks to many donations from the community.
