UPDATE: The Whoppertio will be sold nationally beginning Aug. 15, according to various media outlets. Burger King is hoping to attract Chipotle customers who may no longer be eating there because of the E. coli and norovirus outbreaks that sickened dozens across the U.S.
The Whopperito will be priced at $2.99 and will be sold for 3 to 4 months. That's cheaper than Chipotle's beef burritos.
ORIGINAL STORY
Burger King has come up with another wacky creation and we are totally jealous that it is not available in Nevada.
According to Eater.com, BK is testing the Whopperrito in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. The Whopperrito features all of the traditional Whopper ingredients wrapped up in a tortilla.

Burger King is also testing Whopper Dogs in select markets, according to Fortune magazine.
Although hot dogs were added to menus recently at local Burger Kings, there has been no sign of the Whopper Dog, which features a hot dog topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, chopped onions, ketchup and mayonnaise.
Although a representative told Fortune that the Whopper Dog could be released nationally, a spokesperson says there are no plans to introduce Whopperrito nationally.
Although some people in Twitter land didn't seem to impressed with the idea of a Whopperitto, we think they are making a HUGE mistake.
