A woman was critically injured in a crash Friday afternoon.
It happened around 3:10 p.m. on Friday when investigators say a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near Warm Springs and Spencer Street. She was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk.
The victim was taken to UMC Trauma in critical condition. Police said she had significant head trauma.
The driver stayed on scene and was not believed to be impaired.
