Winds and dropping temperatures had last-minute shoppers bundled up.
Lots of leaves were blowing around mostly empty parks.
Those that were out said the wind and cold were preferable to scorching temperatures in the summer.
Some even said it wouldn't really feel like Christmas to them is they didn't have to bundle up.
