Former MMA fighter War Machine, who was found guilty of beating his ex-girlfriend, appears to be begging for her forgiveness.
The tweet links over to a long apology letter in which he asks Christy Mack to let him apologize.
War Machine says in part, "I am sorry for the man that I was. I am sorry for hurting you." He goes on to say that he hopes she'll write him or even visit, claiming he found God behind bars and traded his old life for a new one.
13 Action News hasn't confirmed if War Machine actually wrote the letter and tweet, but it is from his official account.
War Machine is scheduled to be sentenced in May and could face life in prison.
