UNLV once again welcomes record-breaking freshman class

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is welcoming the largest incoming class in its history.
 
About 4,000 freshmen will start classes next week, marking the fifth straight year UNLV has broken its record.
 
Wednesday was move-in day for the 1,900 students who will live on campus. UNLV says its residence halls are packed to capacity and even have waiting lists, although more than 90 percent of students commute.
 
UNLV is renovating apartments to house graduate students, but the units won't be available until 2017.
 
Undergraduate enrollment at is up by 5 percent overall, while graduate enrollment is up by 4 percent.
