A new housing project has come to a standstill at UNLV.
The university said construction at The Degree, an apartment complex near campus, stopped in September and hasn't resumed.
"We are concerned and disappointed. We plan to engage students to address their needs as appropriate," UNLV said in a statement.
UNLV campus residence halls are at capacity, with more than 1,900 students living in residence on campus.
