A fire was reported early Friday morning near a water treatment facility near Heritage Park.
Several 13 Action News viewers told us that they heard an explosion and saw smoke and flames.
We could see smoke upon arrival outside of the facility.
A spokesperson for the fire department says that a NV Energy transformer on the water treatment facility's property caught fire around 2 a.m. The water treatment facility itself did not catch fire.
Firefighters decided to let the fire burn itself out.
There is no other information available at this time.
