Things to know this week in Las Vegas: Blood drive, changes to Nellis AFB

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Things to know this week in Las Vegas, the week starting April 5, 2020.

A public health emergency has been declared at Nellis Air Force Base. Starting on April 6 the base will be limited to mission essential personnel and those who live on the base.

The Salvation Army is opening up an additional space on April 6 to house homeless in Las Vegas.

The Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on April 7 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. To find out more information on all upcoming blood drives at the speedway visit this link.
