UPDATE: A jury has found Jason Lofthouse guilty on charges of kidnapping and sex with a 17-year-old student. The verdict was read in a Las Vegas court room on Friday.

A trial for a Rancho High School teacher accused of kidnapping and having sex with a student revealed new details about their relationship.
The teen who prosecutors say was a victim testified on Wednesday.
She told the jury her relationship with Jason Lofthouse was consensual. She tells prosecutors she was a willing partner in her relationship with him.
Prosecutors say Lofthouse kidnapped her last year. He was her history teacher.
Lofthouse admits he had a consensual relationship with her, but says he did not kidnap her. The teen says they did not have a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, but they had a consensual relationship.
She was just 17 years old at the time.
The prosecutor asked her to tell the jury the intimate details. She testified their encounters began in classroom then graduated to hotels. She says Lofthouse never forced her.
The teen said she didn't tell her parents or police at first and initially lied about the relationship.
Lofthouse faces kidnapping and sexual misconduct charges. The trial continues Thursday.
