Cheyenne High School was vandalized last weekend with graffiti, including a swastika.

The vandalism was painted over before kids returned to school.

In a statement, the Clark County School District "would like to emphasize that our schools are respectful learning environments. We urge students to stay focused on their studies and continue to respect one another."

Assemblywoman Dina Neal also released a statement on the incident.

“This reprehensible act is extremely disappointing. Students should never feel for their safety while trying to get an education. I denounce the actions that took place at Cheyenne High School and stand with the members of my community.”

CCSD police are following up and investigating to try and identify suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 702-799-0228.
