LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The gas station clerk who police say shot and killed a man after attempting to steal beer from a gas station in downtown Las Vegas has posted bond.

26-year-old Suse Antunez-Garcia appeared before a Las Vegas judge today.

The arrest report for the clerk accused of killing a man over stolen beer has also been released.

There aren't many new or unknown details in the report.

The report says a man and woman entered the store, grabbed 4 cases of Modelo beer, and exited without paying.

The store manager followed them outside and got into a scuffle with 56-year-old Robert Lee Cook. At the same time, Suse Antunez-Garcia retrieved her handgun from her backpack and also went outside.

Surveillance video shows Antunez-Garcia coming up behind the victim as he was leaning into a getaway car and firing 2 shots. As the car drove away, the clerk also chased the car on foot.

According to the report, the store manager asked Antunez-Garcia to come with him but did not tell her to bring a gun and says he was unaware that she had one.
13 Action News spoke with another clerk about the dangers of the job.

Antunez-Garcia is facing a murder charge.
