Clark County looking to fill seat on Stadium Authority

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Clark County is looking to fill a spot on the Las Vegas Stadium Authority Board of Directors.

The county is seeking applicants for one seat on the nine-member stadium board.

Prospective applicants should have experience in one of these three areas.

  • Design, engineering, and construction of major commercial projects and estimating the costs of the construction of major commercial projects.
  • Financing of capital projects in Nevada.
  • Experience in the field of stadium, arena, or event management.

All applications must be received by 5 p.m. Dec. 2 to be considered.

The County Commission will consider the applications and make an appointment during the Dec. 17 commission meeting.

The appointment is for a four-year term that runs from Jan. 1, 2020, to Jan. 1, 2024. The seat is currently occupied by Tommy White, whose appointment expires on Dec. 31. Stadium board members are not paid.
