Shots fired at Karen and Maryland

Police say a suspicious person near an apartment complex at Karen Avenue and Maryland Parkway fired multiple gunshots around 1:30 a.m. on Monday.
The person fled on foot. No one was injured. No arrests have been made yet.

Bullets took out the back and side window of a car where a bumper sticker was shot clean off, still clinging to shards of glass.

"I was even told that if one of the bullets would have come out of the hood of the car that it would've penetrated myself in the neck," said one witness.

The man behind the wheel threw the car in reverse, trying to get away from the shooter.

At least one bullet went through a window and the walls, just inches from people's beds.

No one was hit in the gunfire.
