UPDATE: Police say that a man was injured by a knife during an incident on Thursday morning. He was transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. At this time, no one has been arrested.
EARLIER STORY
Police responded to an incident at the Budget Suites on Tropicana Avenue near Valley View Boulevard on Thursday morning.
There is currently a heavy police presence at the extended-stay motel and it appears that several people have been detained.
