The Rev. Jesse Jackson is one of the many people who have rushed to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas after former NBA basketball player Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a brothel.

Action News was able to catch up with him outside of the hospital on Wednesday morning.

Jackson verified that Odom is unresponsive and is hooked up to various medical equipment. He said he is in a private room on life support. But Jackson believes Odom is doing better than he was Tuesday.

Jackson added that Odom's ex-wife Khloe Kardashian and former Los Angeles Laker teammate Kobe Bryant have visited.

#RIPLamar started trending on social media late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

The hashtag began trending after several celebrities such as Lil Wayne, J.R. Smith, Stephen Jackson, Al Harrington and others began expressing their condolences based on bad information, according to TMZ Sports.

Vanessa Bryant, whose husband Kobe reportedly visited Odom on Tuesday, took to Instagram to set the record straight.
