The Raiders and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers announced Wednesday the team’s first sponsorship based in Las Vegas.
To celebrate, the restaurant chain unveiled the Official Cup of Raider Nation. The cup, which was revealed in the form of a 10-foot replica in front of Thomas & Mack Center, will be available at all 12 Raising Cane’s locations across the valley beginning Aug. 30. The sponsorship in Las Vegas is the first since the team’s move was made official earlier this year.
Prior to unveiling the new cup, and in celebration of its new partnership, Raising Cane’s presented a check to UNLV Athletics for $10,000.
The Official Cup of Raider Nation is available with the purchase of any large soft drink or Caniac Combo at all 12 Raising Cane’s locations in Las Vegas and Henderson. The cups have two designs and will be available while supplies last. The first design features logos from Raising Cane’s and Raiders. The second features an image of some of the Raiders starting lineup.
In further anticipation of the Raiders arrival, Raising Cane’s will kick off the 2017 NFL season with a Raiders themed football campaign at all valley locations. Further, from Sept. 7 through Sept. 10, restaurants will celebrate the first game of the season with “Tailgate Parties” at all locations. Stores will be decked out in football décor.
Caniac Club members can participate in a football-themed Swipestakes that will give away a grand prize including free Raising Cane’s for a year, a Raising Cane’s chair, Raising Cane’s swag and a Raiders Jersey. Caniac Club members can swipe their cards during the Tailgate Parties to enter for a chance to win. Guests will also receive a free jug with any tailgate purchase.
