LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — In the wake of George Floyd's death, Las Vegas police, community leaders, and the Raiders' Jason Witten joined together for a roundtable discussion on race and police relations in the city.

Loved ones gathered for George Floyd's funeral in Houston before burial

Witten says he wants to be a small part of the solution, and when he was a Dallas Cowboy, there was a tragedy in 2016, when five police officers were ambushed, and it took the community to come together for everyone to heal.

Recent attacks on police, officer-involved shootings

Las Vegas police also heard about concerns regarding police tactics, such as de-escalation, and says there's ongoing yearly training for officers.
