UPDATE: Police say missing girls found

3:15 P.M. UPDATE: Las Vegas police say that the missing girls have been found and they are safe.

ORIGINAL STORY
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Missing Persons Detail is asking for the public's assistance in locating both Ashuntiana Bogus and Nariah Hanson.

Police say they might possibly be in severe emotional distress and in need of medical assistance.

Both girls were last seen on on April 15 at around 4:30 p.m. on Maryland Parkway near E. Pyle Avenue.

Ashuntiana Bogus was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants with holes in them, police say. Nariah Hanson was last seen wearing a white dress with blue and pink flowered design and a red sweater.

All hospitals are asked to check their registries for the missing person and notify the police immediately. It should be noted that HIPAA permits disclosure upon request by law enforcement and is authorized pursuant to 45 C.F.R. section 164.512.
