UPDATE 1 P.M. NOV. 1: Recent reports are a husband and wife that were both in their 80’s. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating whether this was a mercy killing because the husband was a patient at the center.

ORIGINAL STORY: Homicide detectives are in route to the scene of a possible murder-suicide at the Welbrook Transitional Rehabilitation Center at 6650 Grand Montecito Parkway, near Deer Springs Way.
Around 9:30 a.m., a husband reportedly shot his wife and then himself.
