UPDATE: Investigators say the crash involved a Chevrolet Silverado and a Hyundai Sonata. The male driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced dead on scene. The female driver of the Hyundai was airlifted to UMC Trauma.

LAS VEGAS, NV (KTNV) - Police are investigating a deadly crash.
It was reported around 10:06 a.m. on Blue Diamond Road in the Mountain Springs area near Mile Marker 12.
One person has died as a result. There is no information on what caused the crash, or the identity of the victim.
All lanes are reportedly blocked. Drivers should take alternate routes.
