A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car Sunday evening at Nellis Boulevard and Vegas Valley Drive.
The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. and closed southbound lanes on Nellis Boulevard for several hours.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital.
