A woman died in a crash on Summerlin Parkway early Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the Rampart Boulevard exit. A white Saturn Ion was the only one involved. The driver was traveling eastbound, went across the median and flipped before landing on the westbound side.
She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Officials said speed was a factor in the crash.
Traffic was diverted on westbound Summerlin Parkway for more than four hours as Nevada Highway Patrol investigated.
