Police say that a man was shot and killed Saturday morning inside Siegel Slots & Suites near East Craig Road and North Nellis Boulevard in northeast Las Vegas.

The man killed was identified as 28-year-old Antwone Deonte Smith of Las Vegas. He died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said the victim was inside the business when he approached two men and started a physical confrontation. The fight later escalated when the victim was shot numerous times.

Shimeek Butler was inside of the building when the shots were fired.

"Some dude just started shooting," said Butler. "When I started hearing bullets, I hit the ground by the machines."

Butler says he doesn't know the victim personally and never knew his name, but he had seen him at Siegel Slots & Suites before.

"I only met him like once or twice in here." He said.  "He liked to dance like me.  We would be dancing and battling and stuff like that."

No suspect has been taken into custody.
