Suspicious man seen near Kingman, Ariz. school

A nearby county is warning the public about a suspicious man that was seen near a school Monday.

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred Monday afternoon while students were walking home from Cerbat Elementary School located in Kingman, Ariz.
 
At about 3:25 p.m., a girl was walking home from school in the area of North Benton Street and Northfield Avenue when she was approached by a man who began to grab at her, police said. The man was chased off by friends of the female.  

Shortly thereafter, the same man was observed following a group of girls in the area of North Roosevelt Street and Snavely Avenue.
 
The male suspect is described as African American, early 20s, approximately 5’11” in height with a thin built, a shaved head and no facial hair.  The suspect was wearing black basketball shorts and blue and orange hoodie.
