LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A blaze has been extinguished after it sent large plumes of smoke over a portion of the valley Friday morning.
Crews with the North Las Vegas Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to West Tonopah Avenue around 7:20 a.m. on Friday.
Firefighters observed heavy smoke coming from a commercial structure.
Officials said all five occupants were safely evacuated.
Three dogs were found in the backyard and returned to their owners.
No injuries were reported, and the cause is still under investigation.
A previous version of this story stated that residents in the area identified the property as a suspected meth lab. However, Channel 13 has since learned those we spoke with were mistaken.
