NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Dramatic live fire training is part of the 2020 Firehouse World Conference that is happening in Las Vegas this week.
The goal of Thursday’s exercise at the North Las Vegas Fire Department's academy was to help firefighters from all over learn the principles of modern fire attacks.
“Crews are all over the hands-on training and live fire training,” said Donovan Hansen, training and safety division battalion chief.
The Vegas conference is expected to bring together 2,500 firefighters from across the nation to share their knowledge and see new technology to help fight and control fires.
