UPDATE MAY 18: The Clark County Coroner has identified the deceased as 24-year-old Martin Martinez-Parga from Las Vegas. Parga's cause of death was blunt force injuries and it was ruled an accident.
One person is dead and two others are currently fighting for their life after a crash in North Las Vegas Sunday night.
The crash happened at about 5 p.m. near Lake Mead Boulevard and 5th Street.
Police say speed was likely a factor when an SUV crashed into a traffic pole.
The SUV driver died at the scene and the two passengers were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
North Las Vegas police say the collision remains under investigation.
