This is a roundup of all the breaking news in the Las Vegas valley for June 26, 2017.

5:30 P.M.

Two people were displaced in an apparent air conditioner fire on Frederick Avenue, near D Street and Lake Mead Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

4:20 P.M.

A small brush fire was reported on Travis Jason Avenue, near Martin Luther King Boulevard and U.S. 95.

11:40 A.M.

UPDATE: A 31-year-old man died after he was hit crossing the road outside a marked crosswalk on Tropicana Avenue near Wilbur Street around 2:30 a.m. The driver of the Explorer remained on scene and did not show signs of impairment. He has been identified as 31-year-old Harley Paul Fulkerson from Las Vegas. His cause of death was blunt force injuries.

5 A.M.

Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Mountain Vista Street. The driver of a Toyota was transported to the hospital, as well as the driver and passenger from a Chrysler 200.

As a result of the collision, a light pole was struck and power is out in the area, unknown to what extent.   Flamingo Road is closed down in both directions.

2:30 A.M.

Las Vegas police responded to a fatal collision involving an automobile and a pedestrian that occurred on Tropicana Avenue, between Wilbur Street and Maryland Parkway. 

A 1999 Ford SUV was traveling west on Tropicana when it struck a male pedestrian who was in the roadway.  The pedestrian was transported to the hospital where he later died.  

Tropicana Avenue was shut down in both directions between Maryland Parkway and Wilbur Street.
