UPDATE: Las Vegas police confirm that the moped rider involved in the crash near East Sahara Avenue and South Nellis Boulevard has died.
A moped rider is in critical condition after a collision involving a cement truck at the intersection of East Sahara Avenue and South Nellis Boulevard. The moped driver was transported to Sunrise Trauma. The intersection is closed in all directions. Fatal investigators are on the way.
An adult male victim said he was sitting in his apartment on the 1500 block of 21st Street when a bullet came into apartment and struck him in shoulder. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injury. No suspect information available at this time.
Detectives are on-scene and the investigation is on-going.
A collision occurred between a motorcycle and a vehicle on eastbound Sahara Avenue, east of Jones Boulevard. A male riding a motorcycle died at the scene of the crash. An adult female driving the other vehicle was not injured and did not appear to be impaired. MORE DETAILS
