The NTSB has released new surveillance video, of a 2015 British Airways airplane fire at McCarran Airport. The video shows the exact moment passengers were evacuated from the plane.
The surveillance video shows the plane on the runway, about to take off, when the engine bursts into the flames. The plane stops, then inflatable emergency chutes are deployed and passengers are evacuated.
When it happened, several people were taken to the hospital for minor injuries, mainly cuts and bruises from the emergency chutes.
The NTSB has since concluded the fire was caused by an engine failure.
