Nevada Senate Republican leader Michael Roberson, R-Henderson, introduced a bill Monday that would prohibit sanctuary cities and counties in Nevada.
This came after Clark County Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani's declaration that she wants to make Clark County a sanctuary county to protect illegal immigrants.

The Clark County School District approved a sanctuary resolution last month, while UNLV has explored a petition for a sanctuary campus.
