Need a passport? Head to Southern Nevada Health District

The Southern Nevada Health District has announced it will begin accepting passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State on  Aug. 1.

United States citizens planning international travel can apply for their passports Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Health District’s main location at 280 S. Decatur Blvd.The Passport Office is co-located with the Birth and Death Certificate program.
 
The Health District will not take appointments for processing passport applications. Clients will be processed in the order they arrive and based on the completeness of their application. Applications can take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will be processed until 3:30 p.m.
 
Passport application forms, information on required documentation and fees, and additional information on international travel is available on the official U. S.
