A woman in Florida recently used a parental control option on her 11-year-old son's cellphone to find nude photos allegedly sent by a North Carolina youth pastor, WFTV-TV reported.

According to the report, 30-year-old Tyler Sinkus Smither is being charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child. Smither was arrested on Dec. 2 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was released the next day on a $100,000 bond.

The woman traced Smither by typing his phone number into Facebook. She then contacted authorities.

According to the Wilmington StarNews, Smither's employment was terminated by the Harbor United Methodist Church the same day he was arrested. The paper also reported that he volunteered at a local middle school, but was under staff supervision the entire time.

The sheriff's office believes the two first talked through the "Omegle" app. The two also used Skype to communicate.
