The White House briefly went into lockdown on Wednesday, according to multiple news outlets. The reason for the lockdown was not immediately available.
All clear was called a few moments later.
The Secret Service tweeted Wednesday that the lockdown was called after an individual tried to jump a bike rack barricade near the White House. That person has been detained, according to the Secret Service.
