LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Actor and comedian John Witherspoon has died, according to Entertainment Tonight.
He was 77 years old.
Witherspoon is best known for his role as Willie Jones in the "Friday" series.
Actress Regina King shared her condolences on Twitter, saying, "My dad, my grandpa, my comedic inspiration! I love you Spoons! Rest In Paradise, King."
