UPDATE AT 3:54 PM: Las Vegas police have released the mug shot for Shanta Cotright, who was arrested in connection with the crash on Decatur Boulevard near Blue Diamond Road on Friday morning.
The crash occurred near the same location where local law enforcement set up a DUI checkpoint on Super Bowl Sunday. 19 drivers were arrested for driving under the influence. 130 drivers were tested out of 4.255. Checkpoints are usually set up in areas known to have had problems with drunk drivers in the past.
UPDATE AT 8:45 AM: Police say that one person has been arrested in connection to the multi-vehicle crash on Friday morning.

A multi-vehicle crash has closed Decatur Boulevard south of Blue Diamond Road.
Police say that 5 vehicles are involved. One driver was sent to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries. Three other drivers were transported to UMC with non-life threatening injuries.
It appears that both alcohol and speed may have contributed to the crash.
The crash is under investigation. Motorists should avoid the area.
