Mobile home catches fire in northeast Las Vegas

A mobile home caught fire early Thursday morning.

Around 4:18 a.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in the 2200 block of Toiyabe Street, near Mt. Hood Street and Lake Mead Boulevard. The fire department's response also included resources from North Las Vegas Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.

Upon arrival,  personnel reported smoke showing from the rear of a mobile home. Crews made an offensive attack and knocked the fire down at a reported time of 4:35 a.m. Firefighters were able to prevent the extension of the fire to the home.

The fire is under investigation.  

It is unknown if there were any occupants displaced as a result of the incident. There were no injuries reported. Damages have not been estimated.
