An 8-year-old boy shot and killed himself Saturday evening.
The Clark County coroner identified the boy as Clayton James Singleton.
Police don't know if the shooting was accidental. It happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 9100 block of Wine Cellar Avenue, near Pebble Road and El Capitan Way.
The boy's parents weren't home. His younger sister was there and police say she's unhurt.
One shot was fired from the gun that had been in the house.
Child Protective Services was on scene to help with the investigation.
