I’m on the way to an active situation in #LasVegas on South Rainbow and Windmill. Metro says a call came in around 8:30 this morning for a robbery at a business. Officers have closed roads and are asking the public to avoid the area. More to come.

Responding officers believed two male suspects were inside the business.
SWAT was called to the scene and they attempted to make contact with the suspects for about three hours before it was discovered that there were no suspects inside the Dairy Queen.
During that time, three local schools were put on lockdown.
No employees were hurt and nothing was stolen during the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
