A man is dead after a crash on Friday morning.
It was reported around 8:30 a.m. in the rear parking lot of a business in the 5900 block of West Tropicana Avenue near Jones Boulevard when a semi-truck struck a pedestrian in his 50s.
The driver of the semi-truck truck drove away without knowing the pedestrian was hit. The driver was called to return to the scene and did not display signs of impairment.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Clark County coroner upon notification of family.
