A man died on Dec. 23 after he was shot at an apartment complex in the 3800 block of East Charleston Boulevard near South Sandhill Road.
According to police, they were dispatched to the complex at approximately 4:28 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to UMC Trauma and later pronounced deceased.
The man was identified as 45-year-old Gary Patrick Kaname of Las Vegas.
Police say that it appears he was in an argument with another man when he was shot. So far, a suspect has not been identified or arrested.
