Police arrested a man early Thursday morning after a brief chase near the Stratosphere hotel-casino.
Police say they attempted to stop the man who was riding a scooter but he took off.
At some point, he jumped a wall topped by barbed wire, But, police were still able to catch up to him. The man was then placed in handcuffs and placed into a police vehicle.
It is not known why the man attempted to run.
The incident happened near New York and Commerce streets.
Moved to another breaking story. Just watched police put a cuffed man into the back of a cop car. Officers say this man ran from police when they tried to stop him on his scooter.
