Students around the country and in Las Vegas are planning to walk out today at various times as a sign of protest. The goal is to get world leaders to do more to address climate change.
There are several walkouts planned at local schools, including Valley High School, Palo Verde High School, Advanced Technologies Academy, East Career Technical Academy, Coral Academy of Science, Green Valley High School and UNLV.
