Police say that the man suspected of a sexual assault at a hotel on East Harmon Avenue in 2017 has been arrested.
Detectives identified 22-year-old Oscar Gonzalez as the suspect in the crime during their investigation. Gonzalez was recently arrested in Huntington Beach, California, and is currently being held at the Orange County Jail.
Police were dispatched to the hotel at about 7:30 a.m. July 12 after a woman called police. She told them that she had met a man who offered to escort her to her room. Once they arrived, he allegedly forced her inside, covered her mouth with his hand, and sexually assaulted her.

A mug shot has not been released for Gonzalez.
