Las Vegas in top 10 for most polluted ozone

A new air quality report has been released and Las Vegas is in the top 10 for most polluted ozone.

According to the American Lung Association, a new study on the most ozone polluted cities ranks Las Vegas as no. 9 out of 197 metropolitan areas. .

Researchers also found more than half of the people living in the United States are breathing in unhealthy levels of pollution.

Las Vegas was rancked No. 33 for 24-hour particle pollution out of 94 metropolitan areas and no. 60 for annual particle pollution out of 171 metropolitan areas.

On the positive side, researchers also noted that the amount of pollution is decreasing.
