"Before we get to the heart of our meeting, I know all of us are thinking about the loss that our community suffered in losing Tony Hsieh. Having known him but not intimately but just as part of our community in these 20 years. It's a great loss for us. He did touch so many and was a private person, and I think for all of us who cherished the times we had that were positive, he was a modest soul," said Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman as she shared her thoughts on Hsieh's legacy.

Goodman said because of all the work he did in the downtown Las Vegas area she would like to see a park or piece of artwork dedicated to his legacy.
