LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Nevada judge plans to hear arguments in early January about whether to continue blocking release of a Massachusetts Gaming Commission report into allegations of sexual misconduct against former casino mogul Steve Wynn.

Clark County District Court Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez set the Jan. 4 hearing Thursday.

The Massachusetts report into how the company handled the allegations could impact whether Wynn Resorts keeps a gambling license for a $2 billion casino and hotel scheduled to open near Boston in June.

Wynn argues in his lawsuit that the report contains confidential information obtained from Wynn attorneys that is protected from public view by attorney-client privilege.

Wynn resigned from his company in February and has denied allegations of misconduct.

His name has been stripped from the new casino. It is now called Encore Boston Harbor.
