Jim Bridger Middle School, located near Carey Avenue at Civic Center Drive, was placed on lockdown around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The lockdown was put into place due to North Las Vegas Police activity at a nearby park. Reports say police received multiple calls of gunshots and clowns inside the park.
After an investigation, police deemed the claims to be unsubstantiated. The lockdown was lifted around 11:30 a.m.
