Sherwood Jordan, who was serving life with the possibility of parole for lewdness with a minor and sexual assault of a victim under 16, has died.
Jordan at approximately 5 a.m. Jan. 8 at the Northern Nevada Correction Center in Carson City. He was 67 years of age at the time.
Jordan was committed from Clark County on Aug. 18, 2004.
An autopsy is being scheduled. Next of kin have been notified.
